won't you be my neighbor?
sadness abounds. mr. rogers died last week. remember him? of course you do. he was the really nice old man you used to watch for half an hour every day during the early years of your childhood. man, that was a good show. my favorite part was the little train that would go from his living room to wherever that magical land was with the king and queen and castle and stuff. yeh, it's been a while so i don't remember everything about it. i always thought it was weird that everything in his closet was the same as what he had on to begin with. he'd come home from work and change his cardigan and shoes, but they were the same kind he just took off. what's that all about? it kinda spooked me, even back then. and i never understood why he had a stoplight in his kitchen. but that's ok, cuz he was still a cool dude. in fact, if i could have a stoplight in my kitchen, i'm sure i'd do it too.
man, my desk is a mess. but i'm more tired than my desk is a mess so it's not getting cleaned tonight. here's to mr. rogers, quality children's entertainment (which sadly no longer exists) and getting some sleep. i'm out kids. God bless.
