good vibes

'to love is to make one's self vulnerable, but to be devoted to loving is to be strong.'

these are exciting times in the life of jason. socially, spiritually and ministry-wise things are on the up & up. it's been a long time since i last updated, and i don't exactly know why. i guess i didn't feel like i had major stuff to write about, and i still don't for the time being. but lots of little things are coming together and manifesting in my life just how true romans 8.28 really is:

and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.'

there are things you know to be true, but sometimes it doesn't really sink in until you actually experience it, ya know? so yeh, life has definitely been full of opportunities to love life, love people, share the most important thing in my life (that being Jesus Christ) with them, and above all, love God. starting with spring break, where i had the opportunity to share the gospel with a number of people and see one guy pray to receive Christ, and continuing here @ duke, i've finally just stopped worrying about what people will think when i tell them the truth. it's not up to me how someone will react, i just need to let 'em know it's out there and where to find it.

the weather was beautiful for like a week until today. 70 and 80 degree weather + lots of free time = jason soakin up the rays. it was quite enjoyable, and i was just starting to get into spring mode. then it had to be like 40 degrees and hail today. i think north carolina decided not to have 4 seasons this year, just one. and it's called winter, doh! the weather can't keep me down though, especially when i'm having grand fun times w/peeps like michele, hungmei & noel, or walsh. friday was full of hilarity....i haven't laughed that much in a long time. and a long day at work yesterday was made up for that night in 'hawaii.' not that she'll ever read this, but michele, you're a lot of fun to be with.

i hope & pray that i can continue making the adage @ the beginning of this entry more applicable to my life, for my sake as well as others'. already, positive stuffage has resulted and i look forward to seeing even greater things occur. until next time, ciao!
