november slogan?

thanks to manny for this one...i don't know what it is about politicians that makes them so easy to make fun of. aside from them being in the public eye so much. well, actually i do know what it is. most are willing to sell themselves for less than the corner prostitute as long as you vote them into office, and this makes for a lot of contradictory and ambiguous stances on hot topics in which the candidates don't want to offend too many potential voters. that's kerry's problem at least.

george, on the other hand, is nothing if not faithful to most, if not all of his original stances. things may not turn out exactly the way he predicts (quite the slow economy, though it's been showing signs of growth of late) but he sticks to his principles and doesn't flip flop when things aren't going his way just because fickle public opinion happens to be low some days. plus his grasp of the english language, while at times is weak (and that's being nice), makes for some funny sound bites. and if you're reading this and even considering not voting, you are beyond lame. i'll be sending in my ballot from argentina, surely you can take 5 minutes out of your day to help choose the man who will lead our nation for the next four years. and after the last election, no one can say their vote doesn't matter either. that is my soapbox moment of the day...now to rest my aching throat.
